Dr. Abhishek Jain

Dr. Abhishek Jain is an Orthopedic Surgeon with exclusive expertise in foot and ankle are. With more than 12+ years of experience, he has undergone advanced surgical training in South Korea and Germany, and has worked as an observer in the Department of Podiatry at National University Hospital, Singapore. He is an active member and faculty of Indian Foot and Ankle Society (IFAS) and a faculty with British Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS).

In pursuance to keep up with the time and latest technology, Dr. Abhishek Jain is recently trained in Minimally Invasive surgery(MIS) from Germany and United States of America. In January 2023, he had his 1st hand training and exposure at University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), USA where he was exposed to the most advanced technology in foot and ankle surgery during his observership of three weeks.

Dr. Abhishek Jain is the only surgeon in the world to perform foot surgeries and arthroscopies through augmented reality. Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) are revolutionizing foot and ankle surgery by enhancing surgical precision and patient outcomes. The main advantage of this technology is elimination or significant reduction of radiation load to patients during surgery and significant reduction in surgical time. Dr. Abhishek Jain has been working in development of this technology since 2023. These technologies overlay digital information onto the real surgical field, providing surgeons with enhanced visualization capabilities during complex procedures.

Dr. Abhishek has been exclusively trained in hip arthroscopy at Arcus SportKlinik, Germany by Dr. Wolfgang Miehlke.
