Dr. Mahnoosh Foroughi

Dr. Mahnoosh Foroughi is a Specialist Cardiac Surgeon with over 20 years of experience in adult cardiac surgery and more than 3,500 open-heart procedures performed. She completed her Subspecialty in Cardiac Surgery at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, following her specialization in General Surgery and Doctorate of General Medicine in Iran.

From 2005 to 2022, she served as a full-time adult cardiac surgeon at Modarres Hospital, Tehran, where she also trained medical students and residents. Since 2023, she has been practicing at Iranian Hospital Dubai, providing comprehensive cardiac surgical care.

Her expertise includes coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery, pacemaker implantation, extracorporeal circulation, and advanced postoperative care. She is highly skilled in interpreting angiograms and echocardiograms.

Dr. Foroughi has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and contributed to Springer’s Postoperative Critical Care for Cardiac Surgical Patients. She is fluent in Persian (native) and English.
