
Dr Nazim Mughal is an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics & Spine Surgery at Rajshree Medical Research Institute, Bareilly. He holds MRCS (England), DNB Orthopaedics, MS Orthopaedics, and completed a Structured Clinical Spine Fellowship at Manipal Hospital (2017–2019). He has over 10 years of orthopaedic experience and has independently performed 600+ spine surgeries post-fellowship, with an additional 900+ cases during fellowship.
His clinical expertise includes degenerative spine disorders, spinal deformity correction (scoliosis, kyphosis), trauma, infections, and tumors. He is highly skilled in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, including endoscopic approaches, MISS decompression and fusion, and OLLIF (Transkambin approach).
Dr Mughal is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, postgraduate thesis supervision, and national and international spine workshops. He has authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and is a co-author of a book chapter in the ASSI Monograph on Spinal Tuberculosis (Thieme Publications). He is ATLS, CCrISP, and BSS certified, and speaks English, Hindi, and Urdu.
