The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Department at Thumbay University Hospital, Ajman, conducted an Educational Session on Trainee Wellbeing on Thursday, 23rd October 2025. The session was attended by GME trainees from various specialties.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mayssah El Nayal, Director of Wellbeing Center emphasized that wellbeing is integral to professional performance and patient care. The program focused on promoting mental health, stress management, and work-life balance among trainees. It emphasized the importance of fostering a supportive training environment that enhances both professional performance and personal wellbeing.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion where participants shared insights and feedback. The GME Department reaffirmed its commitment to the continuous professional and personal development of its trainees through such educational and wellness initiatives.
