" I came to this hospital a month ago leaving a very negative review due to misunderstanding mostly in call center and appointnent bookings as I wasn't informed well about the beginning of the process, but I came back due to a lot of reasons which I couldn't find satisfcatory anywhere else.
First, it is very economical though there are lot of Ob packages same to their packages they have but when you go for consults and facility you will still find your way to keep coming back to Thumbay University Hospital as their facilities are very neat, clean, organised, supportive and kind staff.
Although its a package, you will be brought to a private LDR (Labor and delivery room) and Private room after delivery (which looks like a hotel service for me very comforting and you will not feel the sick ambiance at all) . You will have a 5 star treatment from A to Z. Even the food is is according to your nutritional needs. Its yum too as usually after recovery you dont have appetite but i find their meal satisfactory. The nurses are all supportive. Ms Maribel who is in OPD very encouraging, Nurse Shruti on private recovery room. All the OT Nurse, post surgery recovery room nurses.
Second is I am really comfortable with my OB Dr Shanti no words can express how grateful I am that she is my Ob doctor being a nurse i have listed all the endless possibilities in my head including the fact that I know how medical business works here abroad where most are pushing for Caesarian for more money, but Dr Shanti is different she is very gentle, kind and patient, her primary goal for you is to have normal delivery rather having CS which is a good thing, all the endless natural possibilities she will do in order for you to experience the natural process of birth and delivery. Im not saying CS is bad but but experiencing normal delivery is a very wonderful and rewarding journey. (Though i ended up choosing being CS) She carefully explained each step from the consultation til delivery date. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER as she is the best.
Overall it was a very good experience, we even get visited by admin team Ms Jing very supportive also who address all our concerns and questions, we get to even have welcome cake, balloons, baby picture as souvenirs and mini manicure and pedicure which is really relaxing. Everything mentioned in the package was there! The hospital ensured that you got everything they have mentioned from A TO Z. Cannot express how grateful I am!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Thumbay University Hospital to all mom to be! "
