The agreement has established a strong partnership between GMU and the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom, enabling the University to deliver a UK-equivalent postgraduate Internal Medicine Training (IMT) Program in UAE. The training program will be conducted over a period of three years across all hospitals and clinics within the GMU Academic Health System, and will be supervised and monitored by the Joint Royal College of Physicians Training Board (JRCPTB).
